NC superintendent: North Carolina must fix its ‘diploma integrity problem’

At a Feb. 3 meeting of the State Board of Education, State Superintendent Catherine Truitt told board members that North Carolina has a “diploma integrity problem.” During the meeting she gave a report outlining a plan to better align K-12 education with workforce requirements.
